1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI-powered interview coaching service ("Service") provided by DeepQuest ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.


2. Definitions

  1. "Service" refers to the following features provided by the Company:

    • AI-based resume and portfolio analysis
    • Resume-based technical interview question generation
    • AI interview feedback
    • Other services developed and provided by the Company
  2. "User" or "Member" refers to any individual who agrees to these Terms and enters into a service agreement with the Company.

  3. "Points" refers to the virtual payment method charged for using paid features within the Service.

  4. "Interview Records" refers to the content, questions, answers, and AI analysis results from interview practice sessions conducted within the Service.

  5. "Content" refers to all materials uploaded or created by Users within the Service, including resumes, portfolios, and interview responses.


3. Modifications to Terms

  1. The Company will post the Terms in an easily accessible location within the Service.
  2. The Company may modify these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  3. When modifying the Terms, the Company will announce the effective date and reasons for the modification at least 7 days before the effective date through in-service notices.
  4. For modifications that adversely affect Users, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice and notify Users individually via email or other electronic means. If individual notification is not possible due to missing or outdated contact information, in-service announcement shall serve as individual notice.
  5. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may terminate your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

4. Service Provision

  1. The Company provides the following services:

    • AI-based resume/portfolio analysis
    • Customized interview question generation
    • AI feedback on interview responses
    • Interview record management and retrieval
    • Other services developed and provided by the Company
  2. The Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in principle.

  3. The Company will announce any changes to service content, methods, or availability through in-service notices before implementation.


5. Account Registration

  1. A service agreement is formed when an applicant agrees to these Terms, applies for membership through social login (Google, GitHub, etc.), and the Company accepts the application.

  2. The Company may reject or subsequently terminate accounts in the following cases:

    • Using another person's identity
    • Providing false information or failing to provide required information
    • Previous account termination due to violation of laws or these Terms
    • Other cases where the Company reasonably deems necessary
  3. The agreement is deemed effective when the Company indicates completion of registration during the sign-up process.


6. Account Information Changes

  1. Users may view and modify their personal information through the account settings page at any time.
  2. Users must update their information within the Service or notify customer support when their registration information changes.
  3. The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from failure to update information.

7. Account Termination and Suspension

  1. Users may request account termination at any time through the settings menu, and the Company will process the request immediately.
  2. Upon account termination, remaining Points will be forfeited and cannot be recovered. The Company will notify Users of this before processing termination.
  3. Personal information and interview records will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws upon account termination.
  4. The Company may restrict or suspend accounts in the following cases:
    • Providing false information during registration
    • Interfering with others' use of the Service or misappropriating their information
    • Engaging in activities that violate laws, these Terms, or public morals
  5. Before terminating an account, the Company will notify the User and provide at least 30 days to respond.

8. User Obligations

  1. Users shall NOT:

    • Register false information during sign-up or account changes
    • Misappropriate another person's identity
    • Modify information posted by the Company
    • Transmit or post information other than that specified by the Company (such as computer programs)
    • Infringe on intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
    • Damage the reputation of or interfere with the business of the Company or third parties
    • Post or share obscene, violent, or other content that violates public morals
    • Interfere with the stable operation of the Service
    • Engage in other activities prohibited by applicable laws
  2. Users must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, service guidelines, and notices provided by the Company.

  3. Users should avoid including sensitive personal information (of themselves or others) in their interview records.


9. Service Interruption

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the following cases:

    • Maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication equipment
    • Power outages, equipment failures, or excessive traffic affecting normal service operation
    • Other force majeure circumstances
  2. The Company will provide advance notice of service interruptions. In cases of unforeseen circumstances, notice may be provided afterwards.

  3. The Company may conduct regular maintenance, with maintenance schedules posted in the Service.


10. Points System

  1. Users may purchase Points through payment methods designated by the Company.
  2. Points expire 1 year from the date of purchase. Expired Points are automatically forfeited.
  3. Points cannot be transferred, lent, or used as collateral between Users, and cannot be converted to cash.
  4. The Company may provide free Points through events or promotions, which may be subject to separate terms.
  5. Points are deducted in the following order: Points closest to expiration, free Points, then paid Points.
  6. Upon account termination, remaining Points will be forfeited and cannot be recovered.

11. Payment

  1. Point purchases are processed through payment methods provided by the Company.
  2. The Company is not responsible for any issues arising from information provided by the User during payment.
  3. The Company is not responsible for problems caused by false payment information provided by the User.
  4. Minors must obtain consent from a legal guardian before making purchases. Purchases made without such consent may be cancelled by the minor or their legal guardian.

12. Withdrawal and Refunds

12.1 Right of Withdrawal

  1. Users may request withdrawal within 7 days from the date of Point purchase.

  2. Withdrawal is limited in the following cases:

    • Points have been partially or fully used (digital content is excluded from withdrawal once used)
    • The Service has been lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the User
  3. The Company will clearly indicate withdrawal limitations on the purchase screen.

12.2 Refund Policy

  1. Unused Points: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if no Points have been used.

  2. Partially Used Points: Within 7 days of purchase, refund available for unused Points only.

  3. After 7 Days: Generally, no refunds after 7 days from purchase, except in cases of Company fault.

  4. Company Fault Refunds: Full refund provided in the following cases:

    • Payment processing errors
    • Permanent service discontinuation making Points unusable
    • Service unavailability due to Company fault
  5. Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for purchase.

  6. Refund requests can be made through in-service customer support or at official@deepquest.app.


13. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Intellectual property rights for content created by the Company within the Service belong to the Company.
  2. Intellectual property rights for content uploaded or created by Users (resumes, portfolios, interview responses, etc.) belong to those Users.
  3. Users may not commercially use or allow third parties to use information obtained through the Service without prior Company approval.
  4. If the Company wishes to use User content for purposes other than service provision (marketing, promotion, etc.), prior consent will be obtained from the respective User.

14. AI Service Disclaimer

14.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy

AI-generated content, including resume analysis, interview questions, and feedback, is provided "as is" for reference purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

14.2 Not Professional Advice

Our AI analysis does NOT constitute:

  • Professional career counseling
  • Employment or hiring advice
  • Legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind

Users should seek qualified professionals for specific career guidance.

14.3 No Responsibility for Outcomes

The Company is NOT responsible for:

  • Actual interview results or performance
  • Hiring decisions or job placement outcomes
  • Career advancement or professional outcomes
  • Any decisions made based on AI-generated content

14.4 Data Usage

Your content (resumes, job descriptions, interview responses) is used solely for providing services to you and is NOT used for AI model training.

14.5 Third-Party AI Providers

We use AI models from third-party providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their respective terms and data processing agreements. These providers do not use your data for training their models.

14.6 AI Limitations

Users acknowledge that:

  • AI technology has inherent limitations and may produce errors
  • AI-generated content may contain biases or inaccuracies
  • AI analysis should be verified by human judgment
  • Users should not rely solely on AI recommendations for important decisions

14.7 Prohibition on Resale

Users shall NOT provide or sell AI analysis results to third parties as professional advice.


15. Privacy

  1. The Company protects User personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  2. Collection, use, and sharing of personal information is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.
  3. Our Privacy Policy is available on a dedicated page within the Service.
  4. The Company collects only the minimum personal information necessary for service provision.
  5. The Company obtains User consent when collecting personal information.

16. Liability and Damages

  1. The Company shall compensate Users for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
  2. Users shall compensate the Company for damages caused by violations of these Terms.
  3. For third-party services offered through partnerships, the third-party provider is responsible for damages caused by their fault.

17. Limitation of Liability

  1. The Company is not liable for service unavailability due to force majeure events including natural disasters, war, terrorism, network failures, hacking, or power outages.
  2. The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by User fault.
  3. The Company is not liable for expected profits or losses not realized by the User.
  4. The Company is not liable for the reliability or accuracy of information posted by Users.
  5. The Company assumes no liability for free services except where specifically provided by law.
  6. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

18. Age Requirements

18.1 General Requirement

Our Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years of age.

Users under the applicable age must obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent before using the Service. The Company reserves the right to terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.


19. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including:

  • United States Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • International sanctions programs

You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any sanctioned country or on any prohibited party list.


20. Dispute Resolution

  1. The Company will promptly address User complaints and requests for remedy through appropriate procedures and notify Users of the results.

  2. Users may seek dispute resolution through the following organizations:

    • Korea Consumer Agency (www.kca.go.kr / 1372)
    • Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee (www.ecmc.or.kr)
    • Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (www.kcab.or.kr)
    • Other dispute resolution organizations under applicable law
  3. The Company operates customer support channels to address legitimate User concerns and complaints.

20.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute proceedings, Users agree to first contact us at official@deepquest.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.

20.2 International Users

For Users outside Korea, disputes may alternatively be resolved through:

  • The dispute resolution mechanisms available in your jurisdiction
  • The rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for arbitration

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Any litigation arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts designated under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
  3. For international Users: While these Terms are governed by Korean law, nothing in these Terms shall deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.


23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Supplementary Provisions

  1. These Terms are effective as of October 1, 2025.
  2. These Terms apply to all Users, including those who registered before the effective date.
  3. Matters not specified in these Terms and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
  4. In case of any discrepancy between the Korean and English versions of these Terms, the Korean version shall prevail for users in Korea.
